Nitin Garg is an accomplished Engineering Leader with over 15 years of industry experience working with some of the biggest names in tech, including Google, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft, and Uber. He has a proven track record of owning multiple product releases, including international expansion, and collaborating closely with cross-functional groups across the globe. Nitin's strengths lie in new product definition, execution, people management, dealing with ambiguity, technical acumen, and customer-partner relationship management. He has led the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products and defined and analyzed metrics to inform the success of products. Nitin has end-to-end ownership of multiple product features spanning across the product lifecycle and has proven experience with managing customer-partner relations and cross-group collaboration. Nitin has experience building linear optimization systems to solve complex Amazon Fulfillment/Facebook Infrastructure challenges. He has also built new Amazon local offerings on mobile, starting from scratch, and has experience building Microsoft virtualization products (client/server virtualization) and Microsoft Subscription & Commerce platform. He is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Google, where he is keeping regulated enterprise customers in compliance. In the past, he has worked as an Engineering Leader at Uber, where he led the team on a mission to provide seamless and secure customer identity experiences for Uber and its partners globally by offering Identity SaaS. He has also worked as a Principal Technical Product (Program) Manager at Facebook, where he successfully led an organization big-bet– ‘automated server lifecycle management’, starting from scratch, eliminating human need and reducing stranded power by ~3%. Nitin has a BTech in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Warangal and has also studied at IIT Kharagpur and Don Bosco.
