Nitin Garg is a Senior Data Engineer with over 6 years of relevant experience in the field. He is a data enthusiast who understands the importance of data in driving business decisions and improving business processes and products. Nitin has a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics from Delhi College of Engineering. Currently working as a Staff Data Engineer at JLL, Nitin has previously worked as a Senior Data Engineer and Data Engineer at Tempus Labs, Inc. During his time at Tempus, he developed automated data-pipelines to ingest data from different healthcare partners and worked on a data-product called LENS, which enables physicians, researchers, and internal sales teams to quickly analyze data and gain insights from it. Nitin also built new features and functionalities in LENS while maintaining the backend for the application which included handling different tables and views that power the app. He has experience working with technologies such as AWS S3, AWS Redshift, Postgres, Docker, Flyway, and SQL. Nitin's passion for data engineering and data science has led him to work on various tech stacks, including Data Engineering, Data Scientist, AWS, SQL, Apache Airflow, Docker, Postgres, and Backend. He is always eager to learn new technologies and apply them to solve complex business problems.
