Nitin K is an experienced Technical Architect with a demonstrated history of working in the ed-tech and logistics industry. He is skilled in Golang, Kubernetes, Java, Spring, Ruby on Rails, Distributed systems (Kafka, Cassandra, ElasticSearch), and Big data (Hadoop, Spark, Storm). Nitin has end-to-end development and deployment/DevOps experience with Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure in building scalable, fault-tolerant systems. Nitin has expertise with Cassandra in setting up multi-data center clusters with optimal configuration for automated backups, alerts, and recovery. He has worked with multiple micro-service decompositions to scale services better with an avg. write latency of ~2ms for high throughput, write-optimized services. Nitin has also worked on various cross-functional initiatives that involve the implementation of industry-standard best practices like Architecture Decision Records. He has experience with cost-saving projects, actively reducing up to $7000 USD per month for AWS or its managed services.
