Nitin Khaitan is a highly experienced Director of Engineering with over 14 years of relevant experience in building teams, products, and companies. He has been fortunate to be part of some of the most interesting organizations where he got to do just that. Nitin is excited by the scale and is forever chasing it. He is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Milkbasket, where he is leading the 10x scale roadmap planning and execution, collaborating with the business team for new feature release based on attribution from various channels and business units, increasing operational efficiency by moving night operations to Kafka instead of Cron Jobs, integrating technology backbone with Reliance eco-system, and leading R&D around new technical advancement. Nitin has extensive experience in automation, including infra automation (CloudFormation), code quality coverage, static review, and build automation. He has expertise in AWS, Google Cloud, DevOps, CD/CI, full-stack development, microservice architecture, and database management. Nitin is AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate. He has received several recognitions, including Top organizational performer with awards such as ‘Diamond in the Rough’ and various client appreciations in a short span of joining ACS now (Cognizant). In the past, Nitin has served as a Senior Solutions Architect at Ituple, where he designed solutions both from NFR and FR perspective and detailing architecture using UML tools, designed and developed core framework modules, acted as a liaison between the business and the technical team for planning and problem-solving, and involved throughout the lifecycle of projects starting from inception till deployment and production support thereafter. He has also worked as a Solution Architect at Geeksundae Solutions, where he architected designed and developed standard frameworks to be reused in future projects, enabled the client for a smooth transition from the legacy system to the new application by architecting the transitioning solution, and was the single point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and the development to ensure process compliance and timely project delivery. Nitin holds a Master's degree in IT from Punjab Technical University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from CDAC. He has also completed his BCA from IGNOU and 10+2 and 10 from Nazareth Academy.
