Nitin Kumar is a highly experienced Software Engineer-II, currently working with Microsoft. With over 8.78 years of relevant experience, Nitin has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Adobe and Cisco. He holds 2 US patents and has a Master of Technology degree in Computer Science from IIT-Roorkee. Nitin's expertise lies in software engineering, iOS development, research, integration, MySQL, NoSQL, Python, and C. He is a leader, mentor, educator, and motivator, with a passion for learning and exploring new technologies. During his tenure at Adobe, Nitin worked on designing and implementing a "cloud aware" document format for the Creative Cloud business suite apps. He also led the import and export of vector format like SVG to InDesign, one of Adobe's flagship applications. Nitin enhanced Adobe's Paragraph composition algorithm to improve the text composition engine for InDesign and worked on enhancing text engine feature algorithms like balance column, vertical justification, span/split column, and auto-size. At Cisco, Nitin worked in the Routing Team, where he worked on routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, and RIP. He led the Modularity project from the routing side on IOS-XR to support OSPF, EIGRP, and RIP on platforms like ASR9k, Suntone, Fretta, Skywarp, Rosco, and Zermatt. Nitin is a highly motivated individual with a lot to learn. He is a team player who enjoys collaborating with multiple designers to enable various workflows with multi-author collaborations of documents.
