Nitin Patel is a highly experienced Senior Software Development Engineer with a focus on end-to-end delivery of scalable and highly performant enterprise products. With over 16 years of experience in the industry, he has gained extensive knowledge and expertise in architecting and developing hybrid-cloud and cloud solutions. Currently working as a Software Development Engineer IV at Groupon, Nitin is leading the design and engineering for the Orders/Commerce platform. He works in close collaboration with the Fraud & Payments platforms and various Inventory services to architect systems and solutions in order to provide seamless checkout and post-checkout experiences to millions of customers. Prior to Groupon, Nitin worked as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle in the Identity management space, where he contributed to the design and engineering of most of the enterprise products in the IAM suite such as OIM/OIG (Provisioning & Governance), OAM/OAAM (Access & Security) and OUD (Directory). He also worked on designing multi-tenant solutions for Cloud and Hybrid-cloud use cases for IDM customers. Throughout his journey at Oracle, Nitin solved numerous business problems that IDM customers face. Nitin began his career as an Intern with EABU-JUNOS group at Juniper Networks, where he was involved in the development of "Traffic Monitoring" applications for Routers. He is a constant learner and highly motivated, with a strong focus on customer success. Nitin's technical skills include Software Engineering and Senior Software Engineering, and he has a proven track record of delivering successful projects. Nitin holds a degree from Vignan College and has completed his education in 2003.
