Nitin Prakash is a Senior Software Engineer at UpSwing with over 5 years of relevant experience in Android development, software engineering, testing, UI design, and backend development. He is a Google Developer Expert in Android and a mentor at Google for Startups. Nitin has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Maharshi Dayanand University. Nitin's journey into programming began when he realized his passion for coding after working in a different field for a year. He started learning Java and Android on his own and later joined an IT company where he worked as a project coordinator. Despite not getting programming work, Nitin continued to learn on his own and eventually landed a job as an Android Developer at IP Media. Here, he learned a lot about API, databases, node.js, PHP, lumen, and more. Nitin currently works at UpSwing where he is building innovative software solutions. Apart from his day job, Nitin is also a Lead Organizer & Speaker at CoderLane, where he manages a community of over 500 android developers. He organizes virtual meet-ups, gives tech talks on new android libraries, app architectures, app scaling, and more. Nitin is also a former SDE-III at Trell, where he improved app-start-up time by 80%, reduced crashes by 7x, and integrated CI pipeline for GitLab. He also migrated the groovy to kotlin-dsl whole project, and enabled build-cached to improve build time. Nitin's tech stack includes Android, software engineering, testing, UI design, Dagger, ML, OpenCV, CI/CD, Tensorflow, and Backend development. He is a passionate programmer who enjoys learning new technologies and sharing his knowledge with others. Nitin is a problem solver who is always looking for innovative solutions to complex problems.
