Nitin Rawat is a highly experienced Data Scientist with over 12 years of relevant experience. Currently, he is working with Oracle as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, where he is responsible for developing data-driven solutions to address business problems. Nitin has a strong background in software engineering and research, which allows him to approach complex data problems with a holistic perspective. Before joining Oracle, Nitin worked with Zomato as an AVP of Data Science, where he led a team of data scientists focused on improving logistics and fraud identification. During his tenure, Nitin developed and optimized several models, including a model to predict rider assignment time, a model to predict online order cancellations, and a model to identify fraudulent registrations. Nitin also explored graph embedding and anomaly detection techniques to identify fraud networks. Prior to Zomato, Nitin worked with Kabbage, Inc as a Senior Data Scientist. Here, he developed a CLTV (Customer Life Time Value) model to help the sales and marketing team prioritize and focus their efforts on the right customers. Nitin also developed a model to predict if a customer would take a loan in the next 30 days and led the uplift modeling initiative within Kabbage. He experimented with LSTM models for predicting risk and analyzed the Autopay process for loan payments, recommending changes. Nitin holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. His technical skills include software engineering, data science, and research.
