Nitin Savkar is an accomplished AVP at Reliance Retail and JioMart with over 13 years of experience in digital marketing, advertising, analytics, and e-commerce. He has a proven track record of facilitating innovation through prototyping and delivering fully functional proof of concepts using machine learning and data analytics tools. Nitin has collaborated with engineering and platform teams to develop and scale successful POCs, and he has set up an Analytics & Insights team consisting of Data science professionals and Business Intelligence Engineers at Bangalore location to support analytics needs. Prior to his current role, Nitin worked as a Sr Manager at Amazon, where he set up a team of Ads Program Managers and Account Managers from ground up to launch Amazon.in Display and Search advertising. He led product initiatives to launch patent complexity analytics initiatives/products and built Business Analytics, Data Science, and Data Engineering teams. Nitin received the Cow Boy award and the Inventor award during his tenure at Amazon. Before Amazon, Nitin worked as a Sr Manager Digital Marketing at Fulcro, where he led digital marketing for Tata Docomo, Bajaj Electricals, Bajaj Finserv, Goodyear Tyres, ICICI, Kotak, and more. He developed RTB Trading Desk and played a key role in setting up India's first full-service Telecom E-commerce Business for driving new acquisitions and base usage. Nitin holds an Executive Programme for Young Professionals degree in Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree with First Class with Distinction from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
