Nitin Sharma is a seasoned technical leader with over 11 years of experience in the e-commerce, Fintech, and Travel domains. He is a graduate of NIT Bhopal, where he earned an impressive 8.24 GPA. Nitin has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Microsoft, Amazon, Expedia, and Standard & Poor's. Currently, Nitin is a Senior Engineering Manager at Microsoft, where he leads a team in the security and compliance area to deliver scalable security solutions across all M365, Azure, and other Microsoft offerings. His primary responsibilities include people management, leading partner engagements, and helping the team build scalable and quality solutions in collaboration. Nitin is a skilled people manager, engineering leader, and communicator, with expertise in stakeholder management and delivering complex distributed solutions at scale. Prior to Microsoft, Nitin worked as an Engineering Lead at Expedia, where he led the OMS team in a lead architect capacity. The OMS team was responsible for order orchestration on Expedia and partner sites, and Nitin's primary responsibilities included conceptualizing, designing, coding, testing, and delivering high-quality solutions that integrated well with Expedia partners and scaled well with ever-growing features and requirements. He also mentored his peer developers to promote design and engineering excellence. Nitin has also worked as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, where he designed and delivered transportation and delivery experience-related products that were India first and were later adopted worldwide. He primarily worked on software that reduced transport losses, improved customer delivery experience, and opened avenues for Amazon payments and other services in the Indian marketplaces. Nitin has a Master's degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from CCS (Chaudhary Charan Singh) University.
