Nitish Bahl is a highly skilled full-stack developer with over 2 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at PayPal, where he is part of the Global Fraud Risk team and is responsible for developing risk platforms, systems, and dashboards to prevent fraud and mitigate risk by both consumers and merchants across the PayPal platform and its subsidiaries. Nitish is proficient in React, C++, Java, Spring Boot, and has experience developing user-facing web and mobile apps. Nitish is an avid open-source contributor and has contributed to Joomla, the 3rd largest CMS, and Google Open Source. At Jio, Nitish delivered a proof of concept to achieve Digital Signature functionality in Android and Java using simulated Public Key Infrastructure SIM environment with Python-based backend CA infrastructure. He also developed scalable and modular Java and Python libraries/modules to be used in future work. At Samsung Research Institute, Bangalore, Nitish analyzed and compared different algorithms that can be used to link devices, identify users, households, and communities by developing a Device Graph. He implemented an algorithm in PySpark and Python to build device graph based on IP, Device ID (Google ID or Apple ID), and timestamp, capable of handling more than 50000 data points from a million devices per second. Nitish completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, in 2021.
