Nitish Deo is an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in the information technology and services industry. He currently works as a Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where he completed a summer internship after his third year. During this internship, he worked under the mentorship of Dr. Deepak B. Pathak and developed IITBombayX – Monitoring APPlication, an application for monitoring the course delivery in MOOCs platform using online reports. The software is a computational and analytical tool which uses MySQL and MongoDB as Database Management Systems, JSONs for passing parameters, Django/Python, AJAX, Javascript, Jquery, JSP and Bootstrap for designing and utilizing web-based applications. Prior to his current role, Nitish has worked with companies such as Maq Software and PhonePe. At Maq Software, he worked as a Software Engineer 2, where he designed and developed various applications such as a Smart Search App for Comments Categorization, Merchandising BI Reporting System, Attendee Feedback Classifier, and Microsoft US BI Application. At PhonePe, he worked as a Software Engineer. Nitish holds an Engineer’s Degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology. He has a strong technical background and is skilled in Software Engineering, Web Development, Data Warehousing, Search, Recommendation System, and Azure. With 7.11 years of relevant experience, Nitish is a strong engineering professional who is passionate about solving complex problems and delivering innovative solutions.
