Nitish Singh is a DevOps Engineer and Opensource Enthusiast with a passion for building products that create a positive impact on people's lives. He has a quick-learning attitude and is a team player who focuses on achieving project objectives with speed and accuracy. Nitish enjoys playing with new emerging DevSecOps tools and contributing to interesting OpenSource projects. Currently working as a Software Engineer at MSys Technologies, Nitish is working on the Seagate project and is responsible for building and maintaining shell scripts to automate the deployment of the Kubernetes cluster. He has developed and maintained Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to deploy CORTX cluster for development teams and sanity pipelines for components teams. Nitish has also developed and maintained CI/CD pipelines to deploy CORTX-RGW cluster and reduced the total RPM package generation build time by a large margin. Additionally, he troubleshoots deployment issues on the multinode Kubernetes cluster and supports developers in the process. Prior to his current role, Nitish worked as a Software Engineer Intern at MSys Technologies, where he primarily developed CLI tools in Python to deploy and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure. He automated the deployment process using Ansible for CI/CD pipelines to provision the environment. Nitish also developed and documented an alerting mechanism for high-availability Pacemaker-Corosync cluster for frontend Web-UI. He presented several talks on logs based metrics aggregation and data visualization utilizing Kibana, Logstash, and Elasticsearch. Nitish has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. He also has a Senior Secondary degree from Allahabad Public School & College and a Secondary degree from Mahatma Gandhi Inter College. Nitish's tech stack includes Software Engineering, DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Python, Elastic Search, UI, Frontend, Web, and Infra. With 2.78 years of relevant experience, Nitish is a problem solver and builder who is always keen to learn and contribute to new projects.
