Nitya Gupta is a highly skilled and experienced Product Designer with a passion for creating human-centered products that solve problems and enhance user experience. Currently working at Razorpay, Nitya has designed the Razorpay Magic checkout, which caters to post and pre-checkout needs of users, helping merchants provide fast checkout solutions to their customers while increasing conversion and reducing RTO orders. She has also designed an experience to onboard new merchants on the Razorpay dashboard, crafted expertise to integrate multiple logistic partners, and developed a solution to monitor RTO and risky orders for merchants. Nitya's expertise also extends to optimizing error case handling across checkout flows, redesigning the Razorpay Checkout theme, and designing a solution to tokenize cards on Razorpay Checkout. In addition to her design work, Nitya has mentored interns and helped with DesignOps initiatives to improve onboarding. She has conducted user interviews for magic checkout from tier 1, 2, and 3 cities, gaining valuable insights into user needs and preferences. Prior to her current role, Nitya worked as a Senior Product Designer at Bijnis, where she designed and reworked key sections of the Shoekonnect app, introduced multiple new flows to increase user engagement and orders on the platform, and redesigned the Shoekonnect website for a marketplace-like experience to buy, manage, and track orders directly. She also redesigned admin and seller dashboards to reduce friction from the current order management system and increase overall system performance and revenue. At Rentickle, Nitya re-designed the website, product listing, checkout, and other key sections of the website to increase user engagement and retention. Nitya holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Maharishi Dayanand University. She is proficient in a range of technologies, including product design, mobile design, UI design, and testing. With 6.53 years of relevant experience, Nitya is a highly skilled and knowledgeable Product Designer who is passionate about creating magical checkout experiences and solving complex problems through innovative design solutions.
