Nived Velayudhan is a passionate Solution Architect with over 9 years of experience in the IT industry. He has a deep passion for technology and marketing and loves to code. Nived is a Red Hat Certified Architect with expertise in Linux Infrastructure, automation, and containerization on hybrid cloud environments using customized open source solutions. He is currently focused on Docker and Kubernetes and is on his path towards Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. Apart from his professional life, Nived is also a social worker and a part of the Art of Living Foundation. He has been a part of the team that manages more than 440 free schools across the country and helped organize the World Cultural Festival in India, the biggest cultural event in history. Nived practices Yoga and Meditation every day, which he learned through this organization. Nived is currently working as an Associate Solution Architect at Red Hat, where he develops strategic relationships with partners to become a trusted adviser for Red Hat solutions and services. He provides presales technical support to Red Hat account managers and partners, including technical enablement, solutions development, solutions porting, benchmarking, implementing roadmap design, and packaging of complex partner products and solutions. He also supports evaluations of offerings, leads practical technology workshops, and limited-scope technical proofs of concepts. Prior to his current role, Nived worked as a Learning and Development Instructor at Red Hat, where he delivered technical offerings to enterprise and retail customers, facilitated Red Hat’s certification exams, delivered seminars and workshops, and guided discussions with associates and managers to scope training needs. He also worked as a Corporate Trainer cum System Administrator at IPSR Solutions Ltd, where he built private clouds with OpenStack and provided SaaS applications for internal use, migrated existing applications into OpenStack Cloud, and automated existing workflows for testing/development environment using Ansible. Nived holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pillai College of Arts, Commerce and Science and completed his HSC from Apeejay School, Nerul. He has expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Deep Learning, infra, ML, Ansible, and test. Nived believes that India would be an IT superpower in this decade, and he wants to position himself to be a driving part of that transformation.
