Nivedita Mukerjee is an accomplished education and communication professional with over 30 years of experience in leadership roles. As an Education Advisor and mentor to the leadership teams of education institutions, she believes in creating an enabling environment that nurtures curiosity to learn and the skill of communication, which will enable individuals to advocate for themselves and others. Nivedita has 20 years of experience in education, where she has worked as an Education Advisor and Education start-up consultant for Schools, Higher Education Institutions, Ed-Tech companies, school leaders, and parents. She has also worked as a Guest Faculty with CENTA (Center for Teacher Accreditation), Director of Excellence and Strategic Initiatives, CMR University (Engineering, Architecture, and Management Schools), Director and head of Neev schools, and Senior science teacher at Indus International School (an IB World School). Apart from her extensive experience in education, Nivedita also has 15 years of experience in television and print journalism as News Correspondent for Doordarshan, News Editor and Producer for Zee and CNBC Asia, Managing Editor for CIO India magazine, and an announcer in All India Radio. Currently, she is leading strategic initiatives and process excellence in the space of K-12 schools and higher education as an honorary advisor to school management and leadership teams in both private and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Nivedita has proposed, planned, and set up departments and frameworks of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in the institutions she is associated with. She has also designed and conducted faculty induction programs, taken sessions on Outcome Based Education, participated in the accreditation process of the technical college and deemed to be University, prepared documents for human resources and student placement protocols and policies, and worked with student and staff committees to design facilities and policies besides advocacy around Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion on campus. Nivedita holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) (discontinued after selection as DD the national TV's news correspondent) from Banaras Hindu University, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from Indian Jobs and Careers. She also completed her Higher Secondary education from St. Angela Sophia Sr. Sec. School, Jaipur. Nivedita's tech stack includes infra, and she has relevant experience of 32.88 years.
