Nix Barnett is a highly skilled data scientist and machine learning engineer with a passion for positive social and environmental impact. With a background in applied mathematics, coding, and art/music, Nix brings a unique perspective to the field of data science. Currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at ginger, Nix has also worked as a self-employed Data Scientist and as a Lecturer at the Santa Fe Institute. During their time at the Santa Fe Institute, Nix taught courses on Python and Jupyter, Information Theory, Theory of Computation, and Nonlinear Dynamics.
