Noor Mubeen is a highly experienced Power and Performance Software Lead with expertise across diverse technology domains and platforms for two decades. He has contributed through roles of Software Architect, Technologist, and Individual Contributor. Presently, he is leading optimizations in Power, Performance, and Energy through software on Intel SoC/platforms. He has worked with several generations of processors (10nm and ahead) and has exposure to many form-factors including smartphone, tablet, Nexus player, eyeglass, laptop, and PC. He is a strong proponent for OpenSource and GNU/Linux in specific. He is the author and maintainer of Power Shape and Stress tool (PSST) in Ubuntu distro and has architected thermal solutions for x86 (ITUX). He holds six patents (USPTO) in the areas of IP/Power/DVFS optimality and power management in ML. When not at work, Noor spends his time on low-cost research understanding gravity and its nature. He is an Experimentalist in low-cost gravity research and is passionate about understanding this area of physics that needs a better understanding. His goal is to conduct one key experiment per year supported with a thesis paper. He has published several papers on gravitational deflection observations, gravitational anisotropy and objects at human scale, and emergent physical gravity-field model. He has also conducted a novel experiment on density influence to Galilean free fall that won the Gravity Research Foundation award in 2022. Noor Mubeen's past work experience includes working as a Senior Software Architect at Intel where he contributed to improving Intel processors' power/performance/Energy/thermal attributes. He also worked on power/energy aspects for AI/ML algorithms and was involved with several generations of Atom(mobile) and Core SoC/platforms. He has also worked as a Software Architect at TiVo, where he built and led a MIPS kernel dev team.
