Nootan Singh is a Senior Member of Technical Staff at VMware R&D with over 8 years of experience in application development of highly scalable systems. With a specialization in breaking monolithic applications as per DDD into cloud-based stateful and stateless microservices, Nootan has developed cloud-native, ready, and resilient application architectures in AWS along with Docker and Kubernetes implementation. Nootan is experienced in event-based services using Resque and optimizing web application performance vertically using distributed caching, Redis, NoSQL DB, Mongo DB, Cassandra, and horizontally by concurrency with goroutines channels, code optimization. Nootan has also implemented push notification API for Android, IOS, and windows. Nootan has developed various Rest APIs using GoLang and is proficient in Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, React Js, Cassandra, Postgres DB, MySQL, GIT, Mongo DB., Redis, Core Java, Node JS, and Basic C. Nootan has worked with Uber as an SDE ll and with Harman as a Senior Software Engineer in the past. Nootan holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, and a Diploma in CSE from the Board of Technical University, Lucknow. Nootan also completed high school from Nav Jeevan Mission School. Nootan is proficient in Agile methodologies like Scrum, Mob, Pair, and has relevant experience of 9.12 years.
