Norman Sasono is a highly experienced technology professional with over 20 years of experience in building and shipping various computing systems in both enterprise and startup environments. He is currently the Chief Technology Officer at DANA Indonesia, where he leads the technology team responsible for building and running the digital/mobile payments platform (e-wallet), serving more than 60 million users. In 2020, he was awarded World Top 25 Fintech CTO and ASEAN CIO50 for his outstanding contribution to the fintech industry. Norman has an impressive track record of building systems for some of the largest banks, insurance companies, automotive companies, and government entities. He has also co-founded two tech startups, loyaltiexpress.com and Bizzy.co.id, where he built the systems from the ground up and formed and led the engineering, quality, data science, and R&D team. He is driven to create impact by solving problems, creating values, and driving innovations, then inspiring others to do the same. Norman studied Mathematics & Computer Science in IPB and Engineering Physics in ITS, where his academic focus was on Dynamical Systems, Numerical Analysis, Computational Mathematics, and Artificial Intelligence. He has a diverse range of technical skills, including Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Data Scientist, Mobile, Test, Research Scientist, DevOps, Designer, and Product Manager. Outside of work, Norman is a CrossFit Athlete and ranked No. 1 in Indonesia in his age group in CrossFit Open 2021. He also trains and competes in national-level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling.
