Numan Ejaz is an Associate Architect at Quantiphi, a category-defining Applied AI and Machine Learning software and services company. He is a graduate from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, and his primary areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, with a specific focus on building AI systems for NLU/NLG and Computer Vision. Currently, Numan is working on building dialog systems using knowledge graphs and NLP techniques that can help students better comprehend course content. He firmly believes in making AI accessible and useful to everyone. With 3.69 years of relevant experience, Numan has worked as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and Machine Learning Engineer at Quantiphi. He has developed various AI systems, including an AI Tutor bot that assists students in understanding the core concepts of a subject by generating various types of assessments from the knowledge graph using NLU/NLP techniques. He has also developed a Digital Human chatbot that answers users' questions belonging to any domain. Numan has a strong technical background and is proficient in Python, Kubernetes, Tensorflow, and Search. He has expertise in NLP techniques like NER, POS, dependency parsing, coreference resolution, and relation extraction, which he has utilized for implementing SOTA architectures for Natural Language Understanding tasks required for assessment generation. He is also skilled in Big Data, AI, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning. Numan holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) + Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree from IIT Kharagpur. He completed his Class XII from Oriental College, Patna, and his Class X from Saifee Golden Jubilee English Public School.
