Nurul Basar is an experienced Electronics and Instrumentation Engineer with a strong background in the Energy and Medical Instrumentation sectors. He is currently working as an Assistant Manager (Control & Instrumentation) at the West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited. In this role, he is responsible for controlling various important parameters and instruments that are directly related to production, profitability, safety, and the well-being of employees and the surrounding community. He also manages a team of engineers and ensures that on-floor problems are handled efficiently. Before joining the West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited, Nurul gained valuable experience as a Trainee at NPTI and Asia Institute of Power Management. During his training, he learned about advanced practices in Thermal Power Plant and gained hands-on experience in the field. Nurul holds a Master of Technology in Biomedical/Medical Instrumentation Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Instrumentation from the West Bengal University of Technology. With over 12 years of relevant experience, Nurul has developed a strong skill set in process control engineering, instrumentation, and project management. He is a team player and maintains a cordial relationship with his co-workers to ensure that production is not hampered in any way.
