Oguz Pastirmaci is a Principal Solutions Architect at Oracle, with over 15 years of relevant experience in the IT industry. He is a DevOps enabler and a sysadmin at heart, with a strong background in managing Windows and Linux environments. Oguz is passionate about coding with customers to help them run their workloads in the cloud. Currently, he is focusing on HPC, Kubernetes, containers, microservices, and cross-cloud migrations. Oguz has a diverse tech stack, including expertise in Senior Software Engineering, DevOps, Kubernetes, Microservices, Azure, and infrastructure. Before joining Oracle, Oguz worked for Microsoft as a Senior Technical Evangelist - OSS DevOps, where he was responsible for helping customers succeed with running their non-Microsoft workloads on Microsoft Azure, using the tools they know and love. He also worked as a Technical Evangelist - Infrastructure at Microsoft. Oguz holds a degree in Information Technologies from Middle East Technical University and a degree in Computer Engineering from Yeditepe University. He is a lifelong learner and continuously seeks new knowledge to stay ahead of the curve.
