Ohm Patel is a passionate software engineer with a diverse range of technical skills and experience building web and iOS applications using Go, Dart, Swift, and Javascript. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Deliveroo, where he continues to expand his expertise in Golang, Rust, and other cutting-edge technologies. Ohm is a firm believer that hard work and dedication are the keys to success, and he strives to achieve the best possible results in everything he does. He is a graduate with a passion for theatre and a love for programming and new technology, and he brings a unique perspective and creative energy to all his projects. Prior to his current role, Ohm worked as a Software Engineer at Solid, where he was responsible for building fintech products using Go, AWS, and Postgres. He also worked on authentication and authorization systems for core banking platforms, built microservices and APIs for clients, and implemented caching systems using distributed solutions such as Memcache and Redis. He has experience working with queuing technologies such as SQS and SNS, as well as databases like Postgres and QLDB by AWS. In addition to his professional experience, Ohm has also worked as an intern at Practo, where he built components and layouts for an iOS application used by hundreds of customers across the country. He has experience with software version control through Git and has implemented multiple concurrent API calls using promises. He also implemented an MVC architecture for the application. Ohm is a graduate of LDRP Institute of Technology & Research, Gujarat Technological University, where he earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering. He also completed high school at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Surat, where he studied mathematics. Ohm's technical skills include Golang, AWS, SQL, MemCache, microservices, Postgres, iOS, web development, Redis, Javascript, GCP, NoSQL, Ethereum, Docker, Flask, and backend development.
