Om Parkash is a highly motivated and passionate Software Engineer with over 1.5 years of experience in the field. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Love For Data, where he specializes in Python, ETL, Django, and DRF. He is an enthusiastic learner who is always looking to expand his knowledge and skills in the field of computer science. Om has a strong academic background in programming languages and is well-versed in Python, R, Java, and C/C++. He is particularly interested in automation of tasks and has a strong theoretical understanding of the concepts involved. He is also an excellent communicator, with a well-rounded skillset that allows him to effectively convey his ideas and thoughts. At Love For Data, Om's responsibilities include web data crawling and web scraping using Scrapy, Tabula, BeautifulSoup, and PyPDF. He also creates crawlers for various types of data sources, including websites, PDFs, Excel/CSV, XML, and Json. Additionally, he is involved in compiling and cleaning data using Python and creating REST APIs using Django. Om also creates and implements test cases for Django REST APIs. Prior to his current role, Om worked as a Teaching Assistant at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same institution and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Engineering and Information Management from the NED University of Engineering and Technology.
