Omar Sanseviero is a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for education-related projects. He is currently leading the ML Developer Advocacy team at Hugging Face, where he supports Open Source libraries and grows the usage of the Hub platform. Omar's expertise in education is evident through his work with different online communities, helping people enter the world of Machine Learning. Prior to joining Hugging Face, Omar worked as a Software Engineer at Google, where he developed and maintained ML models and infrastructure that power multiple features in Google Assistant. He also worked as a 20% Product Manager in the TensorFlow Graphics team. Omar is the Co-Founder of AI Learners, a community of people who want to learn and discuss AI-related topics and its different approaches and applications. In monthly meetups, they give workshops and talks of topics like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, and more. It's an open community to people of all levels of knowledge. Omar holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. He also completed his High School from Colegio Ciudad de México and Middle School from The International School of Panama. Omar's technical expertise includes ML, product management, Software Engineering, infra, and TensorFlow. With over 3 years of relevant experience, Omar has proven to be a valuable asset to any team he is a part of.
