Omkar is a Senior Software Engineer at Coforge with a passion for Java, Spring, and Azure Cloud. In his current role at Coforge, Omkar is responsible for developing and maintaining Java-based applications on the Azure Cloud platform. He has a wealth of experience in cloud modernization, having migrated legacy applications from on-premise to Azure Cloud in a Platform as a Service (PAAS) model. Omkar has also made code changes to existing applications to make them cloud compatible and has implemented relevant cloud technologies such as Azure App Service Environment, Azure Web Apps, and Azure Key Vault. Prior to his current role, Omkar worked as a System Engineer and Assistant System Engineer at TCS. During his time at TCS, he gained valuable experience in cloud modernization and worked on a variety of projects using Java, Spring Framework, Azure Cloud, Eclipse, Ant, Gradle, IBM WAS 8.5, and Apache Tomcat. Omkar holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies and Research. He also completed a course in Software Engineering from Zero to Mastery Academy. In addition to his technical skills, Omkar is a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
