Omkar Bhope is a highly motivated MS CS student at UC San Diego, actively seeking a summer internship in 2023. With a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Pune Institute of Computer Technology, Omkar has gained extensive knowledge in data science and is proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, and C. Apart from his technical skills, Omkar is also an excellent communicator and has demonstrated his proficiency in public speaking, marketing, group discussion, and presentations. Currently working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Pune Institute of Computer Technology, Omkar has created an in-house dataset from scratch and employed transfer learning on the Yolo-v4 tiny model to detect various types of wrinkles, elevations, and depressions on the vehicle's front body. This has improved task efficiency by up to 50% by eliminating manual labor. Omkar has also worked as the Chief Technical Head at PICT CSI Student Branch, where he led a team of 150 people, including five core teams. He co-led the marketing team that secured sponsorship from 20+ companies, securing a total profit of Rs. 1.7 Lakhs. Omkar also expanded the team strength from 150 to 380+ students and managed the virtual live event with a crowd of 5000+ students. He organized and conducted lectures, hands-on workshops, and expert sessions for volunteers on various technical domains such as Introduction to Machine Learning, Basics of Ethical Hacking, Blockchain, and its applications, and Azure - Cloud computing. Omkar has also worked as a Software Development Engineer at RhythmFlows Solutions Pvt. Ltd. where he worked in three different positions, starting from a Machine Learning Intern to a Project Leader (Intern). As a Project Leader, he led a team of five people to predict an individual's credibility by taking their banking history, transaction patterns, loan status, and other factors into consideration. As a Full Stack Web Developer, Omkar designed a workflow model for an in-house Banking CRM platform for efficient data processing and implemented role-based access control to prevent users from accessing confidential information. He also created a platform for real-time data visualization and predictive analysis that allows the user to customize the charts/layout and visualize future patterns using the most efficient ML algorithms. As a Machine Learning Intern, Omkar devised and handled the design, development, and deployment of an AR platform that renders products such as eyeliner, lipstick, and foundation in real-time on the user's face using
