Omkar Damle is a Senior Systems Engineer with over 8 years of experience in managing and troubleshooting complex IT infrastructures. He is currently working as a Windows System Engineer at Optus, where he is responsible for managing VMWare VSphere Esxi, Citrix Xenapp, Exchange Server, Cisco UCS, and Active Directory Troubleshooting, among other technologies. Omkar is also the Primary SME (Level3) for Sev1 Major Production issues and any Solution Designing Requests for listed technologies such as Exchange +Office 365, Azure AD, Skype For Business 2015- Online & MS Teams. Prior to Optus, Omkar worked as an IT Engineer at Green Light Australia, where he provided technical support to 70+ internal Green Light staff and securely handled and monitored 30+ servers of key clients. He was responsible for handling VMWare VSphere, Exchange Server Management Console, SCCM, Citrix XenApp, and Active Directory, among other technologies. Omkar also worked as a Systems Deployment Engineer (contract) at Bibby Financial Services Australia. Omkar holds a Master's Degree in Information Technology (Software Development) from Central Queensland University, Sydney, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune. He also completed a Professional Year Program from the Australian Computer Society (ACS). Omkar has a strong fundamental knowledge of scripting and has experience with Powershell Scripting. Omkar's tech stack includes AWS, Deep Learning, infra, Azure, and Software Engineering.
