Omkar Kulkarni is a highly motivated and passionate individual pursuing a dual degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and MSc Economics at BITS Pilani, Goa. With a keen interest in quantitative finance, deep learning, and algorithmic trading, Omkar is driven to design, develop and code algorithms to generate buy/sell signals in real-time high-frequency quant trading. Currently working as a Research Consultant at worldquant, Omkar brings a wealth of experience to the table. He has previously served as the Quant Head and Core Member of the Quant Wing at the Wall Street Club BITS Goa. Omkar's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering and an MSc in Economics, both from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He completed his schooling from Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj, and R.N. Podar School. Omkar's tech stack includes expertise in research science and deep learning. With 0.27 years of relevant experience, he is a valuable asset to any team he works with. Omkar's passion for quantitative finance and trading, coupled with his technical expertise, makes him a promising candidate for any future endeavors in the field.
