Omkar Kumbhar is a passionate Full Stack Developer and Software Engineer with over 3 years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and supporting business-critical software solutions. He is well-versed in technologies like Java, Python, AWS, Angular, Javascript, Denodo, Informatica, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, DB2, Oracle, HTML5, and CSS, among others. Currently working as a Full Stack Developer at Principal Global Services, Omkar is responsible for moving business-critical on-prem applications to AWS, identifying automation opportunities, and delivering innovative solutions for the same. He adheres to DevOps practices and streamlines existing CICD pipelines, independently owns and delivers prioritized features, and provides on-call support to portfolio-specific applications. Omkar also plans and facilitates sub-organizational level fun activities. During this period, he has worked with a tech stack that includes AWS, Java, Python, Angular, Denodo, Informatica, Power Automate, Power Apps, DB2, and Oracle, among others. Prior to his current role, Omkar has worked as an Editorial Director at TEDxGCEK, where he was responsible for curating and editing content for the event. He has also worked as a Department Supervisor at Aavishkar, GCE Karad, where he built a multi-level team of nearly 70 students to carry out departmental technical and non-technical events for their engineering stream. His responsibilities included finalizing the events and their criteria, taking care of logistics, decorations, finances, and publicity of the event, and working with college staff and students to plan and execute the event. Omkar holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from Government College of Engineering, Karad, and completed his HSC from Rajaram College, Kolhapur. He is skilled in AWS, Javascript, Software Engineering, Python, Java, test, and DevOps, among others, and has relevant experience of 3.78 years. In his free time, Omkar enjoys playing table tennis and chess.
