Omkar Todkar is an adroit programmer with over nine years of experience in designing, implementing, integrating, testing, and supporting impactful applications on the Android platform. He is a pioneering and perfection-oriented developer with a passion for delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet and exceed user expectations. Currently, Omkar works as a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) at shop101, where he leverages his expertise in software engineering, Android, testing, mobile, UI, iOS, and web development to develop innovative solutions that drive business growth. In his previous role as a Team Lead (Android) at taglr, Omkar led a team of five members to develop a unique e-commerce B2C Android application. He collaborated with marketing, key executives, UI designers, and other developers to create a user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing application for modern shoppers. Omkar also contributed to drafting technical documents, conducting technical reviews and trade-off studies, and participated in fast-paced development cycles to keep the application up-to-date with industry standards. Before joining shop101 and taglr, Omkar worked as a Senior Software Engineer (Android) at vivaconnect, where he led a team of four members to develop an easy-to-replicate native Android e-commerce template. He also contributed to developing a similar iOS template in Swift and developed a geo-based real-time tracking application for food delivery boys on the native Android platform, using Firebase real-time database and Geofire on MVP architecture with RxJava. Omkar played a key role in building server-side database logic for the current platform extensions and designing RESTful service APIs for different platforms (iOS, Android, and Web). He also conducted a two-day seminar on GIT Version Control System to upskill colleagues about the pros of version control system and project maintenance. Omkar holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Shivaji University, where he graduated in 2014.
