Omkar Ubale is an experienced full-stack software developer with a passion for using technology to improve people's lives. With over 4 years of relevant experience, Omkar has worked on building a world-class ERP system for small to medium-sized businesses with Rare Crew. As a Full-Stack Software Developer at Rare Crew, Omkar has been instrumental in the development of Vault, a fully configurable ERP software currently in alpha stage, which is used by over 5000 users across multiple instances. Omkar's expertise lies in designing highly configurable cutting-edge permissions models and implementing them across multiple modules in Vault. He has used his skills in SQL, SQL Server, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and C# to create a model that allows the creation of roles using 19 different flags in 500+ different areas. Additionally, Omkar has implemented the global search feature using Azure Redis Cache and designed a deployment process for multi-instance setup on Azure, implemented using Bash and Azure Pipelines. Apart from his technical skills, Omkar is also an excellent team player and has managed teams of up to 10 developers while maintaining core functionalities of Vault. He has also led the code-review process for a team of 60 developers and volunteered to create a mentorship program and lead the mentoring team of four developers, training over 50 developers across Indian, Serbian, Egyptian, and Slovakian offices. Omkar holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from VIT University, which he completed in 2018.
