Omo Ojeomogha is a highly experienced Director of Engineering with over 13 years of experience in the technology industry. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at wave mobile money, Ojeomogha is passionate about building innovative, reliable and scalable products. Prior to his current role, Ojeomogha held leadership positions at several prominent companies, including Stripe and BlackRock. At Stripe, he led engineering for the Issuing Experience group, driving the best experience for modern internet companies to develop innovative card-based financial services and products. He also served as an Engineering Manager at Stripe, where he helped users streamline their onboarding process and supported internal product teams with tooling and infrastructure. At BlackRock, Ojeomogha played a key role in shaping the company's engineering culture, creating a buddy/mentor system and leading diversity initiatives. He was also responsible for managing the architecture and development of key projects, often wearing the Product Manager hat. Ojeomogha's experience extends beyond the financial industry. He managed a team of engineers at Deloitte, designing and building financial applications for healthcare clients. At MyCorporation, a FinTech startup, he architected and built a cloud-based Document Management System. Outside of work, Ojeomogha enjoys traveling and has an active interest in FinTech in emerging markets, particularly Africa. He hosts a full-day tech talk each year in Lagos, Nigeria, introducing kids to emerging technologies such as AI, VR, machine learning, and unmanned aerial vehicles. Ojeomogha holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science from Babcock University, Ogun State, Nigeria, an M.Sc in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge, and completed graduate coursework in Computer Security at the University of Southern California. He has a strong technical background, with expertise in senior software engineering, AI, product management, ML, and infra.
