Ompragash Viswanathan is a Senior Software Community Engineer at Red Hat, with a strong passion for automation. He specializes in Ansible and works on Ansible products, constantly tinkering with Ansible tower and writing playbooks to automate complex routines. With almost 6 years of relevant experience, he is an expert in open source technologies such as Ansible, Python, Go, Kubernetes, and more. Ompragash has a proven track record of delivering exceptional results. He has previously worked at Cloudera as a Customer Operations Engineer and at Red Hat as a Technical Support Engineer for Ansible. In his previous roles, he was responsible for troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions to customers. He has also created testing strategies to reproduce a wide variety of customer environments regarding issues and bugs found within Ansible Tower & Ansible Engine. Ompragash regularly collaborates with in-house support engineers and developers whenever needed to produce creative solutions and improve customer satisfaction. He has assisted customers in proactive cases at times of upgrade/migration on production environments and has delivered presentations on new features/enhancements to customers/communities whenever needed. Ompragash holds a BCA degree in Computer Applications from the University of Madras. He also completed courses in Information Technology from the Cisco Networking Academy.
