Onkar Chakrawar is an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in logistics and supply chain industry. He is currently working as a Software Developer at Delhivery, where he is part of the cross-border tech team 'StarFleet'. Onkar is responsible for managing cross-border operations such as manifestation, tracking, and updates of international shipments, onboarding of international clients and their sellers. He is also working on the integration of FedEx systems to cater to overseas/international movement of packages. Onkar is skilled in Python, C++, JavaScript, and various AWS technologies. He has a B.Tech degree focused on Information Technology from KJ Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai. During his time at KJ Somaiya, he worked as a Student Placement Coordinator and developed an email text summarization using NLP, which is a chrome browser extension that generates an email text summary and presents it to the user along with email ids, phone numbers, and hyperlinks that are extracted from the text. Onkar's expertise in software engineering, AWS, NLP, Python, Javascript, and integration has helped him develop a complete pickup request module that allows clients to create the pickup request for their import shipments in carrier (FedEx) system. He also developed a cron job to generate a daily report of failed manifestations of shipments using Amazon EventBridge Rule and to share it with the operations team through an email using Amazon SES service. With 2.20 years of relevant experience, Onkar is a strong engineering professional with a demonstrated history of working in the logistics and supply chain industry.
