Onkar Ghorpade is a co-founder and product lead at HabEato, a platform that aims to make healthy eating convenient, affordable, and easy to incorporate into one's lifestyle. With over five years of relevant experience, Onkar has gained analytical skills of an engineer, an eye for detail of an artist, and the resilience of an entrepreneur. He loves working on problem statements with solutions at the intersection of design and technology with amazing people who want to create an impact. Prior to HabEato, Onkar worked as a freelance designer at Onkartist, where he designed logos for Enjogo app of Bhaichung Bhutia Football School and contributed to UI/UX design. He also collaborated with DMRC to create murals at metro stations as a founding member of ‘The New Art’ and ideated & created music album arts and multiple commissions in partnership with renowned artists. Onkar also worked as an actuarial consultant at RSA Security, where he improved the company's solvency capital forecast by effectively managing cross-functional stakeholders for faster data coalition & creating a new excel tool to better analyze data of assets worth £2.2 Bn. He also prepared a weekly financial position pack for the CFO by analyzing data in collaboration with the UK team, analyzed sensitivity of investments & liabilities w.r.t. yields, corporate spreads, FX rate, inflation rate, etc. and collaborated with Assets & Liability Committee (ALCO) to prepare a quarterly pack for group pension schemes. Onkar holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He is skilled in AI, designing, and UI. Onkar is passionate about creating impact through his work and using technology to solve real-world problems.
