Onkar Hanchate is a Specialist Programmer at Infosys and currently works as a Backend Developer Intern at Opsfuse Technologies. He is a responsible and committed software engineer with a get-it-done attitude, interested in competitive coding and problem-solving. Onkar has a B.Tech degree in Computer Science Engineering from WIT, Solapur. He believes that software engineering is as much about people as it is about technology, which is why he identifies himself as an open-source contributor. Onkar has expertise in Python, Flask, PostgreSQL, GIT, C++, Java, SQL, and Flutter, and has published a Python package called "PyQuestions," which provides random problem questions to practice. He has achieved 3 stars at CodeChef, 5 stars at HackerRank, and was ranked #6 in Code Fiesta 2.0. At Opsfuse Technologies, Onkar has worked on building code-free templates for clients to help with faster production and deployment. He has developed API endpoints for feed/article/story support and theme-API support using Python/Flask and worked on PostgreSQL databases. He has also worked with Google Cloud and SQLalchemy. Previously, Onkar worked as a Power Programmer at Infosys, where he was part of the Strategic Technology Group. As a Specialist Programmer, he was a programming 'polyglot' who was an expert in deep programming, full-stack capabilities, high complexity coding, developing rapid applications/platforms, and building technology-enabled solutions.
