Onkar Nigam is a seasoned DevOps/SRE engineer with over 6 years of experience in the field. Currently, he is working as a DevOps Team Lead at Bharti Airtel, where he is responsible for managing the DevOps team and ensuring the smooth functioning of the DevOps pipeline. Onkar has a strong command over a range of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Git, Puppet, Bitbucket, SVN, Jira, Confluence, Maven, RabbitMQ, Redis, Postgres, MongoDB, ELK stack, Docker, CyberArk, Grafana, Prometheus, and Perfona. Before joining Bharti Airtel, Onkar worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at MSys Technologies, where he maintained and modified the pipeline for ARCSERVE client as per the customer requirements. He also updated the build environment and different tools such as Apache, OpenSSL, Tomcat, and other component refresh. Prior to that, he worked as a DevOps Engineer at Cognizant, where he was responsible for migrating all servers of Linux from data center to cloud infrastructure for British Telecom. He installed and configured Ansible, GitHub, Chef, and Puppet in the environment for patching activity. Onkar holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from PSIT Kanpur and completed his intermediate education from Huddard High School. He has a vast tech stack, including DevOps, Ansible, AWS, Docker, Jenkins, Puppet, CI/CD, SRE, test, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, infra, Terraform, microservices, Python, Postgres, integration, web, ECS, Java, JavaScript, Kafka, Spring, and mobile.
