Onkar Sawarna is a final year undergraduate student of Birla Institute of Technology pursuing a dual degree in Mathematics and Computing. He is a competitive programmer with a passion for problem-solving using Data Structures and advanced Algorithms. Onkar is sound with core computer science subjects such as Operating Systems, Networking, and Database Management Systems. He is currently interning with Menlo Security in the FwaaS team on various technologies. Onkar has worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Menlo Security, where he worked on Firewall as a service (FwaaS) on Linux Operating System. He implemented and studied terraform scripts and its application, modified and studied systemd files and their units to change the sequence of services. Onkar has in-depth knowledge of Networking and Firewall concepts and how they are facilitated in the industry, including Tenants, Users, Tunnels, VPN, multi-tenant VPN gateways (mtvg), PNR policies, gd-manage, and FwaaS configuration. He has also worked with different AWS features such as EC2 instance, S3 bucket, IAM policies, etc. Onkar has filed and fixed UI and non-UI bugs, performed automation using Selenium with Python, tested various UI features, and worked on reliability test cases. Onkar has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Coding Ninjas, where he mentored students and solved their doubts on real-life problems based on Data Structures and Algorithms for the course of Competitive Programming. Apart from his professional life, Onkar has been a state player in Cricket in the under 16's. His hobbies include writing and photography. Onkar's technical skills include Software Engineering, UI, AWS, Terraform, Selenium, test, Jenkins, Python, and Golang. He has relevant experience of 1.20 years.
