Onur Ünlü is a seasoned Big Data Engineer and Consultant with over 14 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently working as a Big Data Consultant at Attriva, a Sydney-based company, he has developed a forecasting model for a regional energy company in Turkey, achieving a 98% success rate. He also worked as a Big Data Consultant for a cloud migration project at Hopi, where he built a modular architectural framework and developed extensible core components for data pipelines. He optimized batch and real-time jobs considering cost and performance metrics using technologies such as Apache Beam, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Google BigTable, Google BigQuery, Java, Python, and NodeJS. Onur Ünlü has also successfully developed and implemented a location-based customer lifestyle segmentation system for a bank in Turkey in partnership with Kredico. The system achieved a significant improvement in customer scoring. Prior to his current role, he co-founded techbase and served as CEO, where he worked on various projects such as Real-time Network Analytics using Apache Kafka, Storm, ElasticSearch, and Sniffer Social Media Analytics. He also worked as a Software Developer at Global Bilgi. Onur Ünlü holds a Master's degree in Business and Technology Management from Istanbul Technical University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Engineering from Yıldız Technical University. He also attended Atatürk Fen Lisesi and Vefa Anadolu Lisesi for his high school education and Hasip Dinçsoy İlkokulu for his primary education.
