Osama Tayyab is a highly experienced Group Head of Human Resources at Auriga Group, where he is responsible for providing guidance on effective recruiting practices, interviewing/hiring, behavioral/personality assessments, on-boarding, orientation, and retention strategies. He also provides guidance and support with coaching and performance improvement and documentation processes, and conducts exit interviews during the termination process. With over 10 years of relevant experience, Osama has developed a reputation for fostering a teamwork/open-door environment conducive to positive dialogue across the organization. His personal efforts have been cited as the driving force behind Auriga Group’s employee-retention rate, where high turnover is the norm. Osama is also responsible for working on compensation and benefits, payroll management, designing and implementing company policies that promote a healthy work environment, developing compensation and benefits plans, and giving assistance in the entire recruitment process. Additionally, he works on employees’ career development paths with managers, organizes learning and development programs, and ensures HR staff addresses employees’ requests and grievances in a timely manner. Prior to his current role, Osama worked as an Anchor Person at hl media corporation (pvt.) limited - 7news, and as Head UMT TV/Radio/PR at the University of Management and Technology (UMT). Osama holds a Diploma in Labor Law from the University of the Punjab, a Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources Management from the University of Management and Technology (UMT), and a BS(H) in Textiles Engineering from UMT. He is also currently pursuing a Diploma in Labor Law from the University of the Punjab, which he is expected to complete in 2022. In addition to his impressive academic background and professional experience, Osama has successfully implemented all aspects of OD in Auriga Group of companies after getting consultancy of US Aid worth 1 Million PKR for the OD. He is also responsible for the complete process of Performance Appraisal of Auriga Group’s employees and brought the workers’ compensation program into full compliance. Furthermore, he is working on fleet management, including surveillance, trackers, insurance, buy back policy, repair and maintenance, and disposal, as well as group medical, i.e., health insurance, life insurance, and outdoor patients.
