Otávio Fernandes is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer at Red Hat, with over 15 years of relevant experience. He specializes in software engineering with cross-functional skills, including experience as a Sysadmin, with a focus on open-source design and feature/business research capabilities. Previously, Otávio worked at Schuberg Philis as a Mission Critical Engineer, where he played multiple roles in maintaining applications composed of several different technologies and specialties. He was responsible for mixing knowledge together to achieve the best results, with a focus on 100% customer satisfaction. Otávio also gained experience in Microsoft-related technologies, playing roles as an administrator in daily basis and later moving into a "DevOps" kind of role, focusing on Cloud Native applications for data-analytic kind of platforms. He is up to speed with Kubernetes, Prometheus, Helm Charts, Eneco's Landscaper, Azure Draft, and many other technologies in this ecosystem, with Docker adopted as a runtime.
