Palak Bansal is an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics and a Masters in Economics. She is a passionate software engineer intern at CISCO with a keen interest in building mobile applications that have a material impact on real-world problems. Her primary focus is on developing innovative solutions that make a difference in people's lives. Palak is also interested in the field of Quantitative and Computational finance. Currently, Palak is working as an App Developer at coding club bits pilani, where she collaborated with five team members to build a game betting android app named BOSM Roulette for campus sports fest, which received 400+ downloads. She particularly worked on displaying real-time trending matches list using firebase recycler adapter and worked on animated splash screen. In the past, Palak has worked as a Senior Member at ShARE BITS Pilani, an innovative start-up at the crossroad of education and consulting that offers a leadership program to university students to supplement their academic curriculum and corporates a new way to do consulting, build an innovation ecosystem. She has also worked as a Student Representative, SFC(Student Faculty Council) at the Department of Economics and Finance, BITS Pilani, representing 200+ students of the Department of Economics and suggesting changes in the curriculum. Palak has an impressive educational background. She completed her M.Sc. (Hons.) and B.E. (Hons.) in Economics and Electronics and Instrumentation from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, in 2023. She completed her ShARE's leadership programme of Excellence in 2022 from Share - Growing a New Generation of Leaders. She also completed her Class X (CBSE) from Our Lady of Fatima Convent High School in 2016 and her Class XII (CBSE) in Non-Medical from Scholar Fields Public School, Patiala, Punjab, in 2018. Palak's tech stack includes software engineering and mobile development, and she has 1.86 years of relevant experience. She is a highly motivated individual with a drive to learn and contribute to the team.
