Palak Chugh is a highly skilled Software Engineer with 7.62 years of relevant experience in the industry. She is currently working as a Software Engineer II at fis, where she is involved in developing the world's largest payment gateway, WorldPay gateway. Palak is responsible for handling payments for various merchants like Mastercard, Cobrebem, and adding new features like crypto, etc. Prior to her current role, Palak worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Capgemini, where she worked on E-commerce and Networking (Telecommunication) projects. She handled projects single-handedly, created UI pages, created DB scripts, added features and new tabs from frontend to business logic, and improved two projects' performance solely, including re-coding in a standard way on frontend and backend, solved bugs, streamlined APIs, and removed dead code. Palak also created microservices during her time at Capgemini. Palak has also worked as a Software Engineer at Evry India, where she worked on law and finance projects. She did requirement analysis and prepared documents on it, provided knowledge transfer to junior JAVA resources to ensure effective product development, and worked with on-shore/off-shore clients. Palak worked closely with the on-shore team responsible for development, databases, testing, to deploy applications in production and other environments. Palak holds a degree in Computer Science from Punjab Technical University, where she graduated in 2015. She also completed her 12th with Computers from D.A.V Senior Secondary School in 2011 and completed her Schooling from Assumption Convent School Abohar in 1996.
