Palak Kothari is a highly skilled and motivated product designer with over 5 years of experience in the field. She has a Master of Arts in Interaction Design from California State University and a M.Des in Industrial and Product Design from MIT Institute of Design. Palak is a firm believer in design by doing and has gained extensive knowledge and experience in design research, user experience, concept development, and data visualization. Currently working as a Consultant Designer at roz design lab pvt ltd, Palak has led the design initiative and implementation of merchandise design for various notable clients across multiple events such as Facebook, LVMH, and YouTube. She has also redesigned existing products to increase efficiency and quality and experimented with different materials. Prior to her current role, Palak worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Accenture, responsible for manual testing and regression testing for Best Buy. She also worked as a Graduate Trainee at Elephant Design Pvt. Ltd., where she was part of a product design team and led the design of seven unique air coolers with scale-down prototypes. Palak is an extrovert and a cheerful person, which has helped her transition smoothly into new environments. She believes that learning from others is the key to growth as a product designer and is always eager to learn new things. Palak is actively looking for a full-time opportunity in UX/UI and is attending GHC 2022. Her tech stack includes designer, UI, product designer, research scientist, test, software engineer, and QA.
