Palaniappan RM is a Senior Software Engineer I at Socure with 3 years of experience in web development. He has worked in the e-learning and travel industries, and has hands-on experience with both Microservice and Monolithic architectures. Palaniappan has developed RESTful web APIs using Spring Boot, MySQL, and MongoDB, and has used Docker for containerizing applications. Palaniappan’s past companies include Socure, where he worked as a Software Engineer, and Pickyourtrail, where he worked as a Software Development Engineer - Level 2. At Pickyourtrail, he was responsible for the end-to-end integration of TBO as an alternate hotel provider into the Pickyourtrail platform, actively monitored and improved the API automation booking percentage to 90-100% for different providers such as Amadeus, TBO, Expedia, Agoda, etc., and modified ELK stack to enable the AWS Lambda logs to be visualized in Kibana. He also developed RESTful web applications using SpringBoot and MongoDB. Palaniappan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Anna University, where he ranked first in India and 14th overall in NetRiders Asia Pacific and Japan CCNA Competition 2017.
