Pallab has improved the performance of incremental backup of NAS volumes by integrating Netbackup with storage vendor-provided changed file tracking APIs. He enabled the protection of NAS volumes in NetBackup by writing plugins in Python that integrate with vendor APIs for snapshot management and changed file tracking. Pallab has also integrated HPE RMC and INFINIDAT InfiniBox by means of Python plugins that enabled snapshot management of block devices on the storage systems.
