Pallav Banka is an accomplished professional with expertise in product management, reinforcement learning, and research science. Currently, he is serving as a Product Management Intern at babychakra, where he is working on optimizing the life cycle sustainability of photovoltaic solar cells using reinforcement learning. Under the guidance of Prof Magnus Fröhling, Pallav has researched the capability of reinforcement learning and its application in optimizing product module life cycle sustainability. He has also developed a model framework for the optimization of module life cycle by adjusting recycling rates to achieve a circular economy. Additionally, Pallav has identified key balances of 5+ primary and secondary resources to minimize the module material cost and CO2 emissions. Prior to his current role, Pallav has also worked as a Supply Chain Intern at Hindustan Coca-Cola, where he headed 12 mentors to revamp DAMP Blog and achieved a 250% YoY traffic increase with 30+ course reviews and 10+ events information. He also mentored 6 sophomores and 2 academically underperforming students, catering to their stability, academic, and social needs. Pallav has also worked as a Research Intern at Technical University of Munich, where he architected a life plan engine that stores and computes 10 major core health attributes for app participants. He also developed a network of microservices to ease the data processing on the backend using Java Springboot, REST, containerized services on Docker to ease accessibility and usage, and deployed it on Amazon AWS. Pallav has saved 400+ man-hours annually by evolving the data entry framework and increased the accessibility of self-defined function, thereby promoting uniformity in the functioning of the team. Pallav holds a Dual Degree in BTech + MTech in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He also holds a High School Diploma from Step by Step High School, Jaipur, and a School degree in Science from Neerja Modi School. Pallav is proficient in various technologies such as AWS, Java, Docker, MongoDB, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Backend.
