Pallav Majumdar is an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for using technology to improve healthcare in rural India. He is currently working at Tardigrade HealthTech, where he is developing a platform that allows patients to consult with doctors remotely through a mobile/PC application. His role involves developing the application's features, such as scheduling consultations, capturing symptoms, and facilitating real-time audio/video calls between patients and doctors. Prior to joining Tardigrade HealthTech, Pallav worked at Snapdeal, where he held two different positions. As a Software Development Engineer 2, he was part of the IPMS team, which served API's for various Snapdeal platforms. His work involved developing product inventory information at the seller-supc level and associated business logic using Java, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL, Aerospike, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, and MongoDB. As an Assistant Manager (Engineering), he collaborated with the Central Production team executives to understand their operational pain points and provide tech-enabled solutions. He developed windows applications in Python to automate tasks for the listings and QC team and built a comprehensive Project Tracking dashboard for the Go-To-Market team using LAMP stack, Python, Javascript, jQuery, and Twitter Bootstrap. Pallav has a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. He also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya Barrackpore (AFS) for his secondary education. Pallav's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Mobile, RabbitMQ, MySQL, MongoDB, Spring, Search, Java, Python, and Javascript. With over eight years of relevant experience, he is a skilled developer who is passionate about using technology to improve healthcare in rural India.
